DU holds lit-cultural awards ceremony

The award distribution ceremony for the 2023 and 2024 Annual Literature and Cultural Competitions of Dhaka University’s Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall was held at the hall auditorium.

Professor Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University, attended as the chief guest and presented awards to the winners of various competitions, says a press release.

The event was chaired by Professor Dr. Mahbuba Sultana, Provost of Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall.

Special guests included Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Professor Dr. Abdus Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Science.

The welcome speech was given by Monira Parvin, convener of the Hall’s Literature and Cultural Celebration Committee.

The ceremony was hosted by Nishita Zaman Niha, General Secretary of the Hall Council.
