Janata Bank opens first sub-branch in Kendua, Netrakona

Janata Bank PLC has opened its first sub-branch in Kendua upazila of Netrokona district, expanding its banking network to reach rural communities.

The new sub-branch was officially inaugurated on Monday (20 October) by Md Faiz Alam, Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank.

Kendua Upazila Nirbahi Officer Enamul Haque Talukder attended the event as a special guest according to press release.

The programme was presided over by Farzana Khalek, General Manager of the bank’s Mymensingh Divisional Office.

Managing Director Md Mozibur Rahman joined the ceremony online as the chief guest and delivered his remarks.

Officials from the bank’s divisional and area offices, along with local businessmen, dignitaries, and journalists, were also present at the event.
