IFIC Bank donates computers, books to Holy Family School in M’singh

IFIC Bank has donated computers and books to Holy Family School in Mymensingh as part of its nationwide initiative, “Stand Beside Women on Tech Advancement”, aimed at equipping female students with digital skills.

Representing IFIC Bank at the donation ceremony were Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, Head of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs; Fariha Haider, Head of Centralised Retail Marketing; Aman Ullah Khan, Manager of the Mymensingh Branch; and other officials.

From the school, Sister Shanti Gomes, Head Teacher, and Ashish Kumar Chakrabarty, Senior Mathematics Teacher, attended alongside teachers and students, according to press release.

Launched in 2024, the campaign supports digital education and technological empowerment, especially for students in remote areas, with a focus on encouraging women’s participation in technology.

Similar donations have already been made to schools and institutions in Chattogram, Barishal, Khulna, and Sylhet divisions, helping more students gain access to digital learning tools.
