Shapla to release new original song

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :

This generation’s musician, Shapla Paul, is finally taking the initiative to release her new original song.

Two years ago, work began on a song titled ‘Tumi Esho Shishir Bheja Paye’ written by Tarek Akhand, a talented lyricist of this generation, and composed by Khairul Wasi. Later, due to various reasons, the work on the song stopped.

But at this time, Shapla has become more focused on releasing her original songs, so she wants to present the song to the audience quickly.

So, Shapla said that she will now complete work on the music video for the song and release the song on her YouTube channel soon.

While talking in this regard, she told this correspondent, “Many songs written by Tarek Anand Bhai have been sung by various artistes and have received great popularity. He is one of my favourite lyricists.

I love every word of this song written by him. And Wasi Bhai who has composed a sweet melody for the song, I’m impressed. There couldn’t be a more beautiful melody in this lyric.

Anyway, I’ve finally taken the initiative to release the song. I will make a video of the song in a few days and release it on my YouTube channel soon. I’m very confident that the audience will like the song.”

Meanwhile, six years ago, a song titled ‘Jago Durga’ was released in ‘SaReGaMa Bengali’ about the arrival of Durga.

The song was sung by Dwijen Mukherjee with lyrics by Bani Kumar and music by Pankaj Mallick.

This ‘Durga Agamoni’ song sung by Dwijen Mukherjee has received a lot of response, especially in Kolkata.

Shapla covered the song ‘Jago Durga’ and released it on the day of last Mahalaya. The music of the new song has been arranged by Monir Uddin.

Several cover songs, including ‘Amar Ghore Srabon Jhore’, have been released on the ‘Shapla Paul’ YouTube channel.

Shapla said she is receiving a lot of response for the songs released on her own channel.

Shapla Paul, hailed from Chattogram, has already performed several stage shows.

Her journey into the world of music was guided by her mother, Sanju Paul. She started practicing music in a pure way from a young age.

She received training from Ustad Arun Banik, Rakhal Nandi and Surbondhu Ashok Chowdhury one by one. Her first original song was ‘Moner Shimana’.
