Porshi is not a regular actress-she acts purely out of passion. Alongside appearing in music videos, she occasionally stars in television dramas.

After a brief break, she is now set to appear as a blogger who risks her life just to go viral. The drama, titled ‘Mon Priya’, stars Farhan Ahmed Jovan opposite her and is directed by Mahidul Mahim.

Director Mahidul Mahim said, ‘Through this story, we wanted to deliver a strong social message.

Nowadays, many people risk their lives just to make videos, which often leads to accidents and fatalities. Our goal is to remind people to take risks for life and for society, not just for the sake of a video.’

Filming for the drama was recently completed. During the shoot, Porshi posted a scene on TikTok, where she is seen filming a risky video at a railway station.

At that moment, the drama’s hero, Farhan Ahmed Jovan, intervenes to stop her-and that’s where their story begins.

Regarding her acting, Porshi said, ‘If I come across a good story, I have no objection to acting regularly. But if I don’t like the story, I simply say no. I act in dramas when the story feels right.’
