Md Mahbub Alam appointed AMD of Southeast Bank

Md Mahbub Alam has joined Southeast Bank PLC as Additional Managing Director (AMD) on 14 October 2025. Before this, he served as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at NCC Bank.

He began his career at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) in 1995 and entered banking in 1996 as a Probationary Officer at Uttara Bank, gaining experience across branch operations. He later held leadership roles at Jamuna Bank and Mercantile Bank.

Md Mahbub Alam holds an MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka, and an M.Com and B.Com (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Dhaka.
