Tigresses take on SA in ICC WC match today

Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will take on South Africa (SA) Women’s Cricket team in their fourth match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at Visakhapatnam in India today.

This World Cup matches are rolling on One Day International (ODI) format.

Captain of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team Nigar Sultana Joty will lead her team, while Captain of South Africa Women’s Cricket team Laura Wolvaardt will lead her outfit.

The match will start at 3:30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time) . Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live.

The Tigresses made a good start as they beat Pakistan Women’s Cricket team by seven wickets in their first match of the ICC World Cup in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka on October 2.

Bangladesh women tasted a four-wicket defeat to England women after giving a fight in their second match at Guwahati in India on October 7.
The Tigresses lost to New Zealand women by 100 runs in their third match on October 10.

On the other hand, South Africa women made a sorrow start as they lost to England women by 10 wickets in their first match at Guwahati in India on October 3.

The African women bounced back as they defeated New Zealand women in their second match at Indore in India on October 6.

South Africa women retained their winning streak beat India women by three wickets in their third match at Visakhapatnam in India on October 9.

Bangladesh, under Captain Nigar Sultana, will look to bounce back with their young and energetic squad featuring Fargana Hoque, Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter, and Ritu Moni.

Their spin-heavy attack could be crucial against the experienced Proteas lineup.

South Africa, led by Laura Wolvaardt, come in with confidence after strong performances from Marizanne Kapp, Nadine de Klerk, and Tazmin Brits. Their balanced combination of all-rounders and pace bowlers like Kagiso Rabada.
