NRBC Bank PLC has launched a week-long financial awareness campaign titled Festival of Youth at Jagannath University to promote financial literacy, encourage entrepreneurship, and guide students in pursuing higher education both at home and abroad.
The campaign, which began on Sunday, aims to inspire students to develop sound financial habits while exploring opportunities for career guidance and entrepreneurship.
As part of the initiative, the bank has set up a dedicated stall on the university campus to provide information on banking products, career counselling, and overseas education support.
The stall was inaugurated by Harunur Rashid, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NRBC Bank PLC.
Also present at the inauguration were Kazi Md Safayet Kabir, Head of Retail Banking and Financial Inclusion Division; Asif Ahmed, Head of Nayabazar Branch; and Md Mahathi Hasan Jewel, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing at Jagannath University.
Through its student-centric product NewGen, NRBC Bank is offering students the opportunity to open accounts with no annual maintenance fees and access multicurrency debit cards.
The bank is also providing guidance on overseas higher education and entrepreneurship development.
Students can avail banking services and financial advice at the stall every day from 10am to 5pm throughout the week-long programme.
