Airin in TV drama and item song

Model and actress Airin has showcased her talent across dramas, films, TV, and ramp modeling. Although she hasn’t appeared in films recently, she remains busy with TV dramas.

A few days ago, she acted in a single-episode drama. Now, she is performing in a TV series.

Not only acting, but she will also perform in an item song for this drama. In the series, she will appear as the lead actress.

The series, titled Mohalla, is based on stories from old Dhaka and is directed by theatre director Faridul Hasan. Filming has already begun at various locations including Old Dhaka, Sadarghat, Uttara, and Farmgate.

Written by Bidyut Roy, the long-running series is set to premiere on Boishakhi TV from November 1.

Speaking about the series, Airin said, “I play the character Madhu. Madhu is a popular actress who is taken to an old Dhaka neighborhood to perform at a kite festival.

After that, various dramatic events unfold. I hope everyone will enjoy the series once it airs.”

For the story, Mohalla features an item song titled Tanpura. Sung by Muhin, he also composed and arranged the music for the song.

The lyrics are by Bidyut Roy, and Airin performs in the item song under the choreography of Michael Babu.
