English Grammar contest draws over 1300 students

For the first time, an English Grammar Competition organised by Rafiq’s Kulaura was held in Kulaura, attracting over 1,300 students.

The event took place on Friday afternoon at Nabin Chandra Government Model High School. A total of 1,500 students from 23 high schools and five colleges across Kulaura Upazila had registered for the competition.

Md. Amir Hossain, headmaster of Nabin Chandra Government Model High School, served as the centre secretary for the examination.

During the event, several dignitaries visited the venue, including Acting Principal of Ali Amzad High School Shikhanta Shekhar Guswami, Officer-in-Charge of Kulaura Police Station Md. Omar Faruk, President of Kulaura Press Club Md. Shakil Rashid Chowdhury, President of Kulaura Upazila Press Club Md. Mosabbir Ali, and General Secretary of Kulaura Businessmen Welfare Association Md. Atiqur Rahman Akoi.

Rafiq Sumon, owner of Rafiq’s Kulaura, stated that prizes will be awarded to successful students during a grand ceremony scheduled for November.
