Aishwarya-Abhishek file a case against YouTube

Bollywood’s popular star couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have taken a strong stand against deepfake videos created using artificial intelligence (AI).

they have filed a case against the platform YouTube and its parent company Google for allegedly promoting defamatory and misleading content.

They are demanding $450,000 in damages (about 40 million taka in Bangladeshi currency) from Google and others.

The star couple has also approached the court seeking a permanent ban on sharing such deepfake videos.
