BNP leader Fakhrul candidate for Noakhali -5 Constituency

Noakhali Correspondent :

The country’s heavyweight constituency Noakhali-5 (Kompaniganj-Kabirhat) constituency is currently at the centre of discussion in the upcoming national elections.

This constituency is one of the country’s heavyweight constituencies. The late BNP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader contested from this constituency.

After the death of Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Fakhrul Islam, a former member of Noakhali District BNP, took over the reins of BNP in this constituency.

During the previous Awami League government, he always stood by the leaders, attacks and dangers against the leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations in this constituency.

He also provided financial assistance. After the death of Barrister Moudud, Fakhrul became the sole guardian of BNP in this constituency.

He has become a symbol of trust for the local people for standing by the party and its leaders and activists in times of crisis and taking an active role in various democratic struggles, including the anti-fascist movement.

The residents of the area believe that if BNP nominates Fakhrul Islam for the Noakhali 5 constituency in the next election, they will get a worthy and dedicated candidate.

They believe that the party will also properly evaluate his long-standing political sacrifices and struggles.

There has already been widespread discussion and expectations in his favor in the electoral arena. Local political analysts believe that his popularity and acceptance will be able to bring a new twist to the electoral design in the Noakhali 5 constituency.
