Architect Iftikhar’s 10th death anniv

On the occasion of the tenth death anniversary of the renowned industrialist and social worker, Late Iftikhar Uddin Ahmed (Ifti), founding chairman of Raz Overseas Limited and Bonanza Group of Industries, a special programme to be held today.

The event will include recitation of the Quran, offering of dua, and distribution of food among orphans, says a press release.

The commemorations will take place at various mosques and orphanages in his ancestral home of Potikchori, Raypura, Chattogram, as well as at five orphanages in Kaliganj, including one in Uttara.

The activities are being organised on behalf of his family to honor his memory and charitable legacy.

Besides, initiated by Iftikhar Uddin (Ifti) Smrity Parishad, cooked foods will be distributed in Dhanmondi Taqwa Mosque, Mohammadpur Baitul Falah Islamia Madrasa and Orphanage, Darul Ulum Baitul Jannat Madrasa and Orphanage, Bhanga Mosque, Miftahul Ulum Cadet Madrasa and Anwara Begum Tahfizul Quran Madrasa, Mohammadpur and among underprivileged people. Quran recitation and dua will be offered after Zuhr prayer in mosques and orphanages.
