Entertainment Report :
Popular actress Jaya Ahsan travels between Dhaka and Kolkata throughout the year.
Her heart is in Kolkata, and her pulse is in her native Bangladesh. So, this time she started the Durga Puja in Kolkata. After completing the ‘Puja Parikrama’ there, she returned to Dhaka on the morning of Nabami.
Talking about how her puja went in Kolkata, Jaya told Indian media, “It feels great. Staying up all night to see the deity, eating bhog, chatting with friends – it’s all done. There was also
a ‘Puja Parikrama’.”
Jaya also opened up about the differences between the two countries’ pujas. In Jaya’s words, “Yes, there is a little bit of that. In Bangladesh, pujas are also celebrated on a grand scale. There is also the issue of food and drink. But it is not like in Kolkata.
The pujas in Kolkata are different.” However, despite her deep attachment to Kolkata, Jaya’s hasty return is due to her attachment to her country. She has equal passion for the pujas of both countries. That is why the actress has been in her country home since the morning of Nabami.
According to the report, in the compound where Jaya Ahsan lives in Bangladesh, Durga Puja is celebrated with great pomp. A huge pavilion
is built, and a large crowd gathers to see the idol. Jaya Jana quickly returns home from Kolkata to attend the pavilion.
