Sonali Bank signs tri-party MoU with Law Ministry Supreme Court

Sonali Bank PLC has signed a tri-party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Law and Justice Division and the Bangladesh Supreme Court to facilitate the collection of all types of court-related fees and charges, including e-bail bond submissions, through the Sonali Payment Gateway.

The signing ceremony took place on Monday at the Law and Justice Division’s conference room. Md Liakat Ali Molla, Secretary of the Law and Justice Division; Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee, Registrar General of the Supreme Court; and Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, MD & CEO of Sonali Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions, says a press release.

Also present at the ceremony were Md. Khadem Ul Kayes, Joint Secretary of the Law and Justice Division; Dr. Ummey Sharaban Tahura, Deputy Secretary; Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank; Aklima Islam, General Manager of the bank; and Supreme Court officials Md. Hasibul Hossain and Mir Mashur Ahmed, along with other representatives of the three organisations.
