Dhaka Bank holds closing ceremony of ADB Financed EDP

Dhaka Bank PLC has organised the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) in Dhaka. The initiative was implemented with the support of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Bangladesh Bank (BB) under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), an initiative of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh (GOB), says a press release.

During the event, certificates were awarded to 25 new entrepreneurs who received training under this programme.

In addition, 5 selected entrepreneurs were honored with crests in the categories of Most Innovative, Most Promising, Most Prospective, Most Creative Marketing, and Most Popular Participant. As part of the programme, a vibrant product display was organised, featuring stalls from 7 entrepreneurs who showcased their products.

The ceremony was chaired by AKM Shahnawaj, Managing Director (Current Charge), Dhaka Bank PLC, while Nawshad Mustafa, Director, SME & Special Programmes Department, Bangladesh Bank, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
