Dhaka hosts 12th Asian Tourism Fair 2025

The 12th edition of the Asian Tourism Fair 2025 kicked off on Thursday at Dhaka’s International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), bringing together local and international tourism stakeholders under one roof.

The event organised by Parjatan Bichitra with the support of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the fair opened its doors in the afternoon as part of the celebrations for World Tourism Day. The three-day event will run until Saturday.

Airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and travel agencies are presenting exclusive discounts and packages across 180 booths spread over three halls.Tourism enterprises from Bangladesh, along with representatives from partner nations-the Philippines, Maldives, and Nepal are participating in the fair.

Nepal is proudly participating as the prime partner country this year, showcasing the beauty, adventure, and cultural richness that make it one of the most unique destinations in the world. A total of 10 leading travel companies from Nepal are here to present exciting travel packages, trekking adventures, and authentic cultural experiences.

Asian Tourism Fair Chairman and Parjatan Bichitra editor Mohiuddin Helal highlighted that the fair serves as a one-stop platform for all tourism-related information.
Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman Saima Shaheen Sultana remarked, “Effective cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential for tourism growth, and this fair stands as a strong example of that partnership.”
