
takes top prize Agencies The 77th edition of the prestigious entertainment awards ‘AP Awards’ is being held in a grand manner. As always, the event is being held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
This year’s edition was dominated by Netflix’s mini-series ‘Adolescence’. It won awards in a total of six categories.
The series won awards in six categories: Best Limited or Anthology, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Script, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.
Owen Cooper, 15, set a record by becoming the youngest male actor to win an Emmy for outstanding performance in a series. Owen played Jamie Miller in ‘Adolescence.’
He won the award for best supporting actor in a limited series. Owen called the experience of winning the Emmy ‘unbelievable.’ The actor was 14 years old at the time of filming.
Stephen Graham won two of the six awards for ‘Adolescence’. Stephen Graham won the award for best actor in an anthology series. And Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne won the award for best writer for ‘Adolescence’.
This award for best writing for an anthology series is now in the hands of ‘Adolescence’. Stephen played the role of Jamie Miller’s father Eddie Miller in ‘Adolescence’.
Erin Doherty won the award for best supporting actress for this series. Philip Barantini won the award for best director for an anthology series. ‘Adolescence’ received nominations in a total of 8 categories. ‘Severance’ received nominations in 27 categories.
