Alokito Feni Foundation provides scholarships

BNP Vice Chairman and former FBCCI President Abdul Awal Mintu said, “Those who have received scholarships here will one day be the children of our district. Feni’s most celebrated child is Begum Khaleda Zia.

Once upon a time, Feni College, Pilot High School, these were big names. Many good people came out of them. Many people used to come here from outside. Now that has decreased.”

Addressing children and teenagers, he said, “This is a time when personality is developed. At this time, what is legal and what is illegal is learned. Now society has changed. Society is changing. Society changes every ten years. So if I think my son will follow me.

That is wrong. Therefore, parents have to understand the psychology of their children. If we can bring about social change, then we have to bring about change in our children.

Let the boys and girls develop their talents. Let them develop psychologically. It is the responsibility of parents. Boys and girls are inspired through such programs. Let these programs be organized repeatedly.”

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the reception and award distribution ceremony for the Alokot Feni scholarship exam passers at the city’s Shilpakala Academy on Friday afternoon, organized by Daily Feni Somoy and Weekly Alokito Feni. Awards and receptions were given to 500 students in the exam held in 2024.
