Habib Wahid’s goal is to keep working tirelessly. That is why this celebrated artist and music director constantly keeps himself busy creating new tunes.
After much thought about lyrics, melody, and composition, when he feels that a work has reached completion, he immediately takes the initiative to present it to the listeners. Words like hit, flop, or average never become an obstacle to his work. For this reason, almost every month, we get a new song as a gift from this admired artist and music director.
For example, just a few days ago, his duet song Tor Adore, sung with singer Atia Anisa, was released. A month before that, his two solo songs Jani Na and Dilana also came out, each with a different style.
After hearing so many words of praise about him, the curiosity arises about the source of his thoughts and inspiration in creating music. When asked, Habib smiled and said, “Love can conquer the world, so whatever I have achieved, the main strength behind it is the love of the audience. I have always tried to bring out melodies by diving deep into my heart.”
He further added, “It is true that after making a song, it is hard to predict beforehand how much it will touch the hearts of the listeners. That’s why, until I feel satisfied myself, I keep working on refining the melody and composition. I never set any limits on experimentation either. When I feel everything has come together as planned, then I believe the song will connect with many people. This is how I have continued the creation and release of each song.”
