Hasnat urges students to pursue their dreams

City Desk:

National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organizer (Southern region) Hasnat Abdullah yesterday urged students to pursue their own dreams rather than follow the expectations of their parents or elders.

“What you want is real. What your parents want or what your grandfather wants is not important,” he said at a career guidance and meritorious students’ reception programme organized by the Debidwar Publician Association at the Debidwar Upazila Parishad Hall in the district, reports BSS.

Hasnat Abdullah said, “Not everyone needs to study in a university or get an A plus. Every person’s path to success is different.”

He added, “It is not a crime if you do not like to study, but it is essential to be a good person.

Some are good at cooking, some at drawing, some can sing – these can also be professions. The important thing is to find your own abilities and interests. Forcibly imposed education or career only destroys potential.” Highlighting the importance of humanity and morality, he said, “Whatever we are – doctor, engineer, artist, or anything else – we should at least be someone who does not cause pain to another.
