‘Nationalist Women’s Party’ marks 47th founding anniv in Feni

On the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Women’s Party, a discussion meeting, rally and cake cutting ceremony of Feni District Women’s Party was celebrated last Tuesday. On the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Women’s Party, the foundation anniversary was held under the chairmanship of Jolekha Akhter Daisy, and jointly conducted by General Secretary JoynabBanu and Organizing Secretary NurTanjila.

BNP Chairperson’s Advisor and former Member of Parliament Professor Joynal Abedin VP was present as the chief guest. In his speech, he said – the role of women in every field is one of the most important in Bangladesh. The role of women in the upcoming national elections is immense. The leaders and activists of the District Women’s Party, including the Senior Vice President of the District Women’s Party, JannatulFerdousMita, were also present at the event.

At this time, a huge rally was held by the FulgaziUpazila Women’s Party under the direction of the District Women’s Party’s Publicity Secretary, Shahana Akhter (Sumi). The speakers at the event said – Begum Khaleda Zia, the ideal national leader of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, and the hope of the future, the national leader Tarique Rahman, called for accelerating the movement and struggle. The speakers also said – every leader and activist of the Women’s Party must play a leading role in the national elections.

Everyone must unite to restore the country’s democracy and bring back the people’s voting rights. After the discussion meeting, a huge rally was held which circled various roads of the city. All the leaders and activists of the Feni district of the Bangladesh Nationalist Women’s Party were present on the founding anniversary.
