BAU students distribute saplings

The student organization ‘Hopes of Humanity Center’ from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) held a tree plantation program in the Kewatkhali area of Mymensingh today.

A total of 1,000 Rupali tree saplings were distributed – 800 on September 5 and 200 the day before – among teachers, students, and local residents. S M Sajjad Ul Islam, Managing Director of the organization and a BAU student, said, “Tree plantation benefits both the environment and humanity. We aim to build a greener, more sustainable Bangladesh.”

The head teacher of Premier Ideal School, where the initiative began, said, “Placing a tree in students’ hands means placing the future in their hands.
