An enlightening seminar titled “Work in Japan: Shape Your Future” was held on Tuesday, at the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) Auditorium.
The event aimed to inform and inspire students about global career opportunities in Japan and to enhance their understanding of international professional environments, says a press release.
The seminar featured Dr. Tadashi Ohtake, renowned International HR Consultant, as the Keynote Speaker.
He shared valuable insights on Japan’s work culture, recruitment processes, and professional development strategies for international talents, particularly for Bangladeshi graduates aspiring to build successful careers abroad.
Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of BUFT, graced the program as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Engr. AyubNabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor of BUFT, attended as the Guest of Honor.
Among other distinguished guests were Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Dean, Faculty of Sciences & Faculty of Textile Engineering; Dr. FirozAlam Chowdhury, Associate Chief Researcher, Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE), Japan; and Mr. Kiyoshi Shirako, Director, IMAS Company Limited.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain, Treasurer of BUFT, who expressed gratitude to all participants and highlighted the importance of such global initiatives in broadening students’ horizons.
