JnU student stabbed to death

Md Jobayed Hossain, a student of Jagannath University, was found dead on the staircase of a house in the Armanitola area of Old Dhaka.

According to preliminary information, he had gone there for private tuition. Locals discovered his body in the evening.

Jobayed was a student of the 2019-20 academic session in the Department of Statistics at the university and a member of the convening committee of the JnU unit of Chhatra Dal.
Confirming the incident, the university’s proctor, Professor Dr. Tazammol Haque, said, “I have heard the information and am on the way to the spot.”
