Shwapno opens new outlet in Dhanmondi, expands 754 branches nationwide

Retail giant Shwapno has expanded its presence in Dhaka by opening a brand-new outlet on Dhanmondi Sat Masjid Road, marking the company’s 754th branch across Bangladesh.

The outlet was formally inaugurated on Thursday at ADC Empire Plaza, located on the south side of Abahani Field, one of Dhanmondi’s busiest commercial areas.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sohel Tanvir Khan, Business Director of Shwapno; Saiful Alam Rasel, Assistant Director of Operations; Ms. Qarin, Regional Head of Operations; Eahsan Mabud, Head of Merchandising; and Sabbir Hossain, Zonal Operations Manager, along with other senior officials of the company.

To celebrate the launch, Shwapno announced special month-long offers for customers, including discounts on grocery, household, and daily essential items.

The new outlet will also provide home delivery services to make shopping easier for residents in and around Dhanmondi.

Speaking at the opening, Shwapno officials said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to bringing quality products and convenient retail experiences closer to customers.

They added that Dhanmondi’s vibrant residential and commercial mix makes it a key location for Shwapno’s growing urban network.
