Free health camp held in Gafargaon

A health camp has been organized by the initiative of the late Professor Dr. Hadi Foundation, former VC of Bangladesh Medical University (former PG Hospital) in Gafargaon, Mymensingh.

This free medical service was provided throughout the day on Friday at the house of the former president of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and president of the central committee of DAB, late Dr. MA Hadi, at his residence in Shilasi, Municipality.

The country’s renowned doctors provided free medical services and medicines to more than nine hundred patients from all walks of life.Professor Dr. Hadi Foundation Director Md. Delwar Hossain said about the health camp that two sons of former VC late Professor Dr. Hadi are renowned doctors.

They run the health camp from abroad. There are plans to convert this health camp into a prosperous hospital in the future.

Also, every Friday, specialist doctors are seeing patients for short visits throughout the day. Service seekers expressed satisfaction at having this healthcare service at their fingertips.

This special health camp was conducted on the occasion of the 17th death anniversary of Professor Dr. M. A Hadi. On Friday, after Jumma, the grave visitation and prayer mahfil of the deceased were held. Arshad Ahmed Asad.
