Cyber security career held at BAUET

A workshop titled Cyber Security Career and Rally has been organised on the Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) campus in Kadirabad Cantonment, Natore, at the initiative of the CSE Department.

The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Brigadier General SM Lutfar Rahman, was present as the chief guest at the workshop on Wednesday.

The chief guest said, ‘This workshop is organized to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of the students along with their class activities.’ He encouraged everyone to follow the steps to prevent cyber attacks and advised everyone to be vigilant while using social media. The resource person of the workshop was Shakib Haque Jisan, CEO of Byte Capsule, a former student of BAUET CSE Department, and security analyst.

At the closing ceremony of the workshop, the chief guest presented the crest to the resource person.
The workshop was attended by the University Treasurer Colonel Md. ShawkatHussain, PSC (Retd), Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities Professor Dr. Md. SajjadHossain, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of ECE Professor Mohammad GolamSarwarBhuiyan, heads of departments, teachers, officials and students.
