Acting UP chairman has tragically died after suffering a heart attack due to a loud thunderclap in Kamalganj. He is Fazlur Rahman, the acting chairman of Islampur Union Parishad No. 9, bordering the upazila. The incident took place at around 3:30 pm in Mokabil village of Islampur union. According to local sources, it had been raining intermittently and accompanied by lightning since Monday morning. In the afternoon, acting UP Chairman Fazlur Rahman, He went to cut grass in the agricultural land for work. Fazlur Rahan died of a heart attack due to a sudden loud thunderclap. Islampur UP member Abu Abdullah said that family members informed him on Monday afternoon.
Fazlur Rahman had gone to his paddy field. Later, during a search, his body was found lying in the agricultural land. Later, his relatives brought him home. When asked how he died, he said,
The entire area has turned black. Family and relatives believe that he suffered a heart attack due to the loud sound of lightning. At the time of his death, he left behind numerous relatives and admirers, including 1 son and 1 daughter.
