Chairmen of BCB standing committees announced

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the name of the chairmen of every standing committee on Tuesday in a bid to pace the board’s activities.
The BCB got a newly-formed 25-member Board of Directors for the next four years after a peaceful election yesterday. Aminul Islam Bulbul was elected the president of the new board unopposed.

Bulbul, however, didn’t make any delay to name the committee as he wants the activities of the board to start right from the day one. Bulbul himself took two committees– Working and Grounds Committee– while Nazmul Abedeen Fahim retained the Cricket Operations Department. Fahim, in addition, also got the Finance Committee.

Former National Spinner Abdur Razzak, who was elected BCB director for the first time, was announced as Women’s Wing Chairman and former Captain Khaled Masud Pilot will look after the High Performance Unit. The BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul, meanwhile, will head the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) governing council while Iftekhar Rahman Mithu was announced member secretary of BPL governing council.
