Inter-varsity debate fest begins at DU

The ActionAid-DUDS Inter-University Debate Festival has commenced at the University of Dhaka (DU) on Saturday bringing together young minds from various institutions to engage in critical discussions.

Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of Dhaka University, inaugurated the event as the chief guest. Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS) organized the event with the collaboration of ActionAid Bangladesh.

The two-day festival began on Saturday at the university’s Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) auditorium under the theme “Proposing Policies for Social Inclusivity.” DUDS President Jubayer Hossain presided over the inaugural ceremony, reports BSS.
