Prisoner dies at DMCH

A prisoner died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday, hours after being admitted.

The deceased was identified as Md Amir Hossain, 38. Amir fell sick at Dhaka Central Jail on Wednesday night, said jail guard Arman, leading to his admission at the hospital around 9:00pm, reports UNB. Amir passed away around 11:00am on Thursday. No further details about the prisoner were released.Md Faruk, in charge of the police camp at DMCH, said the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
