Pakistan’s Ali Azmat coming to Bangladesh

Ali Azmat, vocalist of the popular Pakistani band Junoon, was scheduled to perform at a concert held at the United Convention in Dhaka on May 2 this year.

The concert, titled ‘Ali Azmat (The Voice of Junoon) Live in Dhaka’, was organised by Asen Buzz.

But the day before the concert, Ali Azmat’s team announced on social media that they had not signed an agreement with any organisation to perform in Bangladesh.

They were even prohibited from buying tickets for the concert. Almost five months after that incident, Ali Azmat himself announced that he was coming to Bangladesh to perform.

Ali Azmat posted a picture of the stage full of spectators on his verified Facebook page last Friday, writing, “Hello Bangladesh. Finally! Hope to see you all.”

However, he did not provide any information about when, where, or who is organising the concert. After investigation, it was learned that Ali Azmat’s concert is being organised by Asen Buzz.

They had organised ‘Ali Azmat (The Voice of Junoon) Live in Dhaka’ concert on May 2. When contacted for details, Asen Buzz said that they are organising Ali Azmat’s concert.

Details will be announced at a press conference after the Durga Puja holidays. However, they did not agree to talk about the previously postponed concert.
