Union Bank holds 180th board meeting

Union Bank PLC held its 180th meeting of the Board of Directors at the bank’s Head Office in Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on September 25, 2025. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Md. Fariduddin Ahmed.

Other attendees included Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid and Mohammad Saiful Alam, as well as Managing Director & CEO Md. Humayun Kabir. Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Iqbal and Mizanur Rahman were also present, according to a press release.

During the meeting, the board discussed various ongoing matters of the bank and expressed gratitude to customers and stakeholders for their trust in Union Bank at all levels.
