Md. Ruhul Amin Khan, Chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) inspected various activities of BADC wings in Dinajpur and Thakurgaon districts recently.
During his visit, he inaugurated a newly constructed seed warehouse with a capacity of 200 metric tons in Dinajpur under the Partner Project, and a fertiliser warehouse with a capacity of 2,100 metric tons in Thakurgaon, funded by the fertiliser project, says a press release.
He also participated in the grow-out test programme for jute seeds.
Chairman Khan emphasised that BADC continues to work tirelessly and responsibly to ensure timely supply of quality seeds and non-urea fertilisers to farmers. He called on all involved to perform their duties with greater responsibility, dedication, and sincerity to enable farmers to obtain seeds and fertilisers at fair prices without any harassment.
