7 burnt in petrol pump explosion

Seven labourers sustained burn injuries in a gas explosion on Tuesday while they were cleaning the oil tank of petrol pump at capital’s Mohakali.

The incident occurred around 12:10 pm on Tuesday, police and hospital sources said.   

The burn victims were rescued and taken to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery this afternoon for treatment around 2pm today, Resident Surgeon of the NIBPS Dr. Shawon Bin Rahman confirmed, reports BSS. “Two of the burns injured are in critical condition as they suffered 32 to 35 percent   injuries,” he said.
