A level playing field should be created by ensuring the trial of fascists and accomplices.
So it is important to bring the parties including the Jatiya Party, which worked as collaborators of fascism, to justice.
Elections should be held only after the implementation of the July Charter.
There is no alternative to voting for establishing rightsof people.
Instead of fussing over the PR method, if necessary, verify the public opinion of PR through a referendum. Professor Mujibur Rahman, central Naib-e-Amir and former MPof Jamaat E Islami, made these remarks as the chief guest at the protest rally of Barishal Metropolitan Jamaat on the 5-point demands announced by the center at Fazlul Haque Avenue in the city on Friday.
After the rally, several thousand Jamaat leaders and activists paraded the main roads of the city with a protest procession.
The central JI leader said The people of the country want an election in which rights will be established.
And that is why elections are needed using the PR method. Because the only way to evaluate every vote is the PR method.
The central JI leader also said that fascists and their allies will not be given a chance in this country.
The fascist allies are still lurking in the administration, they must be removed and elections would be held.
For that, the necessary reforms must be carried out quickly.
The rally was presided over by Zahir Uddin Muhammad Babar, a member of the Central Working Committee and Ameer of Barishal Metropolitan Jamaat.
The program was moderated by Metropolitan JI Assistant Secretary Muhammad Atiqullah.
Professor Mahmud Hossain Dulal, Maulana Matiur Rahman, Maulana Mahmudunnabi Talukder, Master Mizanur Rahman also addressed in the programme.
Among others Master Abdul Mannan, Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Tariqul Islam, Principal Aminul Islam Khasru, Maulana Habibur Rahman, Maulana Joynal Abedin, Abdus Sattar, Shamim Kabir, Maulana Shafiullah Talukder, Mahfuzar Rahman Amin, Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Advocate Zahir Uddin Yamin, Advocate Azam Khan, Nurul Haque Sohrab, Abdur Rahman Sujan, Akbar Hossain and other leaders also attended the programme.
