Walton has started exporting motherboards (PCBA) to America. Walton first-ever exported motherboard from Bangladesh. Through Walton, a great milestone has been achieved in the Bangladesh’s high-tech product production sector.
This world-class motherboard made by Walton will be used in the American security devices of ‘Soteria System’, a cutting-edge active shooter response and emergency evacuation technology. This system ensures immediate action by alerting occupants through audio and visual cues, enables safe separation by dynamically guiding individuals away from danger, and enhances responder response by directing first responders to the threat, says a press release.
It is a great pride and honor for the high-tech product manufacturing industry of Bangladesh that Walton hardware is used in special security devices that save people’s lives. With the export of motherboard in USA, Walton has opened the door of the global market for the potential world-class Bangladeshi technology products.
To celebrate the export of motherboard from Bangladesh to USA, a grand ceremony was organized at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Monday (September 15, 2025).
At the function, the officials of the domestic tech-giant said, Walton is exporting household electronics products with the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ tag to more than 50 countries around the world. In USA, Walton is initially exporting more than 2,500 pieces of motherboards to Safepro Technologies Inc., an IT company located at Wisconsin State in USA.
The initial export amounts are equivalent to about Tk 2.5 million.
Safepro Technologies Inc. has a wide reputation and contribution in providing effective security systems to protect the lives of all kinds of people, including young students of American schools and colleges, in emergencies. Through the company, Walton’s hardware from Bangladesh has now been added to the security devices of the United States.
Walton is the only PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and PCBA, known as motherboard, manufacturer in Bangladesh. The special security devices made of Walton’s PCBA, will be installed in various institutions including schools in the United States. This device will help in immediate detection, prevention, warning and rapid rescue operations of illegal shootings. It will ensure immediate action by warning through audio and visual signals, quickly evacuate the affected people from danger to a safe place and actively help in taking effective action against the threat.
The function was attended by Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb as the chief guest, who is Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser of the interim government and in-charge of the Ministry Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology. As special guest, Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division, was also present.
