Farida’s health deteriorates

Renowned Lalon singer Farida Parveen has been placed under intensive medical supervision under a six-member medical board as her condition deteriorates, on Saturday.

Her son Imam Nimeri Upal informed the media that his mother’s condition has worsened and is now described as “critical.” Earlier two days, she had been placed on life support, reports BSS.
Farida Parveen has been battling kidney complications for a long time. In recent months, her health conditions deteriorated to the point where she required dialysis twice a week.

On September 2, as part of her regular treatment, she was taken to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali. However, following the dialysis session, her condition worsened, prompting doctors to admit her to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

On Wednesday, her condition further deteriorated, leading doctors to place her on a ventilator.
