ADN Group, South Korean firms join hands for sustainable tech projects

ADN Telecom Limited and ADN Technologies Limited, strategic business units of ADN Group have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with South Korea’s CND Motors Co. Ltd. and PBS Co. Ltd. to collaborate on sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, and smart mobility initiatives in Bangladesh. The agreements were formalised at a signing ceremony held at ADN Group’s headquarters in the capital on Thursday.

Under the MoUs, three major projects will be undertaken to support Bangladesh’s technological progress and sustainable development: the assembly and supply of electric three-wheelers, the implementation of intelligent traffic management and AI-driven traffic signal systems, and the installation of solar-powered streetlights, says a press release.

ADN will take the lead in initiating assembly facilities within the Hi-Tech Park, as well as managing market development and regulatory compliance.

The South Korean partners will contribute advanced technology, equipment, and technical expertise to drive these projects forward.

The collaborations will be executed through joint ventures in Bangladesh, focusing on technology transfer, local employment generation, and long-term sustainability.

The signing ceremony was attended by Henry Hilton, Managing Director of ADN Telecom; A M Ehsan-ul Haque, COO of ADN Technologies; Mohammad Nazim Uddin, CFO of ADN Group; Md. Nasimul Hoq Majumder, Director of Government Business Development of ADN Technologies; along with Oh Sung-Lok, Chairman of CND Motors, and Joe, Director of CND Motors.
