14 police officials transferred

The interim government has once again reshuffled 14 senior police officials at the levels of additional deputy inspector general and superintendent of police amid regular changes to the force’s leadership since the July Uprising.

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice to the effect on Thursday.

The notice included orders reassigning the duties of eight additional DIGs and six SPs.

Among the eight additional DIGs reassigned, two are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, each is from the Chattogram Metropolitan Police and Barishal Metropolitan Police, and another is from the Chattogram Range, reports bdnews24.com.
