Safa suffering from depression after losing her job

Entertainment Report :

Late last year, TV drama actresses Tanjin Tisha, Mumtaheena Chowdhury Toya and Safa Kabir made headlines for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking. They were accused of regularly collecting drugs through a special WhatsApp group.

Safa Kabir’s name was on the list, but she did not speak out about it.
Safa Kabir spoke out about the allegations after a long eight months. She denied being involved in the drug trafficking case and said that her career was also greatly affected after such news was published.

Recently, Safa Kabir participated in a podcast and talked about various aspects of her career and life. She spoke about the news of the drug scandal like a pro. Safa Kabir said, “I was completely shocked after watching the news. I was just thinking what is happening.

What kind of news is this? After that, no one could give any more updates on this news. But after such news was published, I was hurt. The news was published on Thursday. I was supposed to sign a contract with a brand on Sunday. But because of such news, they canceled it. I tried to convince them that it was just a news. I have no connection with it.

But how can I prove it to them? I have nothing to prove, except to convince. My senior artists were canceling work with me. They did not want to work with me to avoid controversy. I also understood that there was a storm going on social media about it.”

At that time, Safa’s friends from showbiz stood by her side. Safa said, “At that time, my friends from showbiz stood by her side.”
Tawsif Mahbub said then, “I will work with Safa. Apart from that, Jovan and Siam also supported her mentally a lot at that time.”

Safa believes that just as it is not right to spread something on social media without knowing, it is also not right to assume someone is guilty before it is proven.

Safa said, “We do a lot of things in a hurry. But we don’t think about the impact such actions will have on people’s lives or society. We have a family, a work life – does anyone think about these? People don’t look at the media well.

Due to such news, parents have the idea that their children are not safe here, they cannot be allowed to work here. I think we need to think twice before doing anything.”

Safa said she also has a bitter experience with media work. After starting acting, she had to work hard to get a chance to act in a solo heroine role. She still does not get the opportunity to act in all types of roles because of her looks.

Safa lamented, “Many people say that I don’t look Bengali. That’s why village girl roles don’t appeal to me. I don’t understand why they think that. There are costumes, makeup. But no one wants to take this risk….I need someone who trusts me and will take this risk.”
