Bangladesh Cricket squad left the city on Sunday for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup, which is scheduled to be held at the different venues of the UAE from tomorrow.
Some matches will take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium of Dubai, while some matches will be held at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium of Abu Dhabi.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups will take part in the ACC Asia Cup, the most prestigious cricket meet of Asian Continent. The tournament will be held on T20I format marking the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong have been billed in Group-B, while India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman have been take place in Group-A.
Afghanistan will face Hong Kong in the inaugural match of the ACC Asia Cup at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi tomorrow. Bangladesh will start their ACC Asia Cup campaign after taking on Hong Kong on September 11.
Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka on September 13. The Tigers will meet Afghanistan on September 16.
The gala match between Pakistan and India will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 14.
